Annual Meeting to Introduce Pesticide-Free
Program
The Salmon Brook Watershed's Annual Meeting is
scheduled for April 10th. Jason Rupaka, Vice Chairperson
Plainville Conservation Commission and organizer of a
pesticide free program in Plainville, will discuss effective
organic land care programs and practices without the harmful
effects of pesticide and synthetic fertilizers. Take a look at
some of these alternative products and join the SBWA
pesticide-free program, the
Green Lawn initiative. Come and
enjoy a night of food, friends and green ideas at Holcomb Farm
in West Granby at 7:30 pm. And don't forget, Earth Day is
coming up April 22nd!
