The Salmon Brook Watershed Association is made up of dedicated volunteers interested in actively
protecting the Salmon Brook Watershed area in and around Granby, East Granby, Simsbury, Hartland,
Barkhamsted, Suffield CT as well as Southwick and Granville MA. The SBWA encourages the
conservation of excellent water sources, fish, wildlife, forest, plant life, and soils throughout the
watershed. SBWA members participate in conservation programs such as the CT Watershed Cleanup,
Annual Salmon Stocking, water quality evaluation through Macroinvertebrates Collection and Sampling,
as well as education about vernal pools and invasive plants.

The SBWA grew out of the Granby Stream Team and is funded in part by the Connecticut
Department of Environmental Protection under Section 319 of the Clean Air Act, administered by Rivers
Alliance of Connecticut. We are temporarily housed at the law offices of Neil Kraner in East Granby, at
12 Church Road in East Granby. We can be reached at P.O. Box 556, Granby CT 06035.
