What is OUR Watershed?
The Salmon Brook Watershed includes the East and West Branches of the Salmon Brook as well as
the smaller tributaries that fees into them. The Salmon Brook runs through Granby, East Granby,
Simsbury, Hartland, Barkhamsted, and Suffield Connecticut, as well as Southwick and Granville
Massachusetts.

The Salmon Brook in turn feeds into the Farmington River, which in turn feeds into the Connecticut
River. The Conneccticut River ends in the Long Island Sound. Thus the Salmon Brook Watershed is part
of the larger Farmington River Watershed, which is part of the even larger Connecticut River Watershed.
